Bell Canyon - image

Bell Canyon

Architectural services for the planning and design of a unique home in the Los Angeles hills. With nearly 2 acres of bi-sloping land, the property includes an 11,500sf exceptional residence, a separate working studio an avocado orchard and an owner’s vineyard. The main house is three stories with one level set into the hillside. A large plinth creates entry and private outdoor areas including pool, dining and relaxation areas. The lower level contains a 2000 bottle wine storage, lounge area with orchard views and a 4-car garage.

Architectural design of various additions including a Playroom with extending gable roof over a new expanded Dining Room and Entry, the addition of a Storage Room/ Workshop above an existing garage and a new kitchen, master suite, laundry and second bath for a large Cape Cod style home. The process of this project included the application for and award of a change to the inland wetlands mapping in the town of Darien, Connecticut.

Architect for the design of a series of affordable tiny homes designed to be modular, mobile, sustainable and resilient. Typical homes use MSIPS panels, are 620sf with two bedrooms, smart features and have high ceiling. Some even are mobile!
