We love to create! With ingenuity, thoughtfulness and great care, MCTIGUE promotes the very best in all involved, realizing inspiring and enduring architecture. We are compelled by our love of place and its relationship with all life to design for those with shared values.

We are a collaborative studio practice providing design and related services to individuals, businesses, corporations and governments. With an increasingly rich base of principal experience and credentials, MCTIGUE was founded in 2011, as the US economy built out of the great recession. Today, with so much accomplished, MCTIGUE continues to build on these collaborative, inspired roots.

We work with clients and team members on projects that benefit community and society, heal and reinforce the nature of our planet and, in the process, provide sustainable business cases. With a base of creative work and great relationships, we believe strongly in a lean, tailored approach to all that we do.

We are a collaboration of creative, critical thinkers, focusing on the social and environmental aspects of the built environment in ways that create sustainable, resilient and economically successful outcomes. With nearly 40 years of Principal experience, we love our work and the people we work with!

We plan, design and communicate, putting people and planet first, creating beauty and improving resilience. We call this “Conscious Architecture”.

We collaborate, communicate, design and realize place for the benefit of all who experience it. We build buildings and spaces first by building great teams. To us, architecture is a single act, made possible by many. We are a diverse chorus with a harmony of voices.

Andrew managed Pier 27 cruise terminal feasibility study for the Port of San Francisco. On the basis of that study, the Port has been able to implement the development of a new terminal facility. Andrew was instrumental in getting the feasibility study done. He was great to work with and I hope that I can work with him again on a similar development project.

Drew Pedrick and I worked together on a project delivery team for the $437 million LAPD Headquarters Program which included a high-rise administration building and two parking developments/structures. Drew is cooperative and thorough. He works hard to be responsive and accurate in his dealings providing design input into construction decisions and processes. He is knowledgeable of the design and construction process, knows how to set priorities, and is well organized on issues. He led a construction support design team of approximately eight professionals on the project and understood the value of timely and accurate decisions.
