Gaia Spectrum Building Improvements + Additions

Architectural services for exterior and interior changes to a 3,000sf, 1904 brick building used as the headquarters for Gaia. The design integrates the most sustainable features, systems and materials available to the project, including vertical harvesting, intended to reach LEED Platinum, WELL Building Platinum and Living Building Challenge. The conceptual direction applies a modern, free-addressing, open, collaborative atmosphere to a building with great local/regional heritage.

Architectural design services for a new two-story retail/commercial building to be located at the intersection of two prominent streets. The work consisted of analyzing zoning and local codes, analyzing the site and its context, programming the two story building and arriving at a conceptual design that fit within the client’s financial and schedule constraints.

Principal at AECOM for this 500,000sf new administrative office center with onsite and remote parking facilities. This building and site promote a new image for the police department and provide a setting that is open to the public while secure for the occupants. The project was awarded in several ways including LEED Gold and the project team received a Building Team of the Year Award from AIA/LA 2006-2010

Principal at AECOM for the design of a new, state-of-the-art administrative center for Atlanta’s Police and Fire Departments. The design incorporates all administrative and related functions, parking for employees and the general public, along with an open public plaza enhancing a sense of openness of government. 2006-2007
